Rotary drying kiln is commonly used for drying, but because of its wide area, high operating cost, low drying efficiency, vertical drying kiln (machine) came into being. The following analysis of several vertical dryers:
First, vertical drying kiln
A multi-layer porous bulk material and aggregate cone combination are arranged in the body of the vertical drying kiln cylinder, and a vibrating disc is arranged in the middle of the multi-layer cone combination. Hot air supplied by the hot blast furnace is fed into the bottom of the drying kiln (it can also be replaced by other heat sources), the materials are discharged from the lower parts of the drying kiln, and the dust and smoke gas are extracted from the top of the drying kiln. The material to be dried enters from the upper inlet of the drying kiln and flows through the combination of bulk material and aggregate cone. Through the action of multi-layer cone combination, the material is repeatedly hoisted, and the vibration plate is excited by the vibration motor to drive the vibration flow of the material, prevent the material from bridging and gathering, and ensure the heat exchange between the material and the hot air, so as to achieve the drying effect.
Two, square vertical dryer
The square vertical dryer is equipped with multi-layer reciprocating tilting mesh plates, each mesh plate is connected to a vibrating motor, and the hot air supplied by the hot blast furnace is fed into the bottom of the dryer (it can also be replaced by other heat sources), the material is discharged from the drying kiln under the material, and the dust gas is extracted from the top of the drying kiln. The material to be dried enters from the upper inlet of the drying kiln, flows through the layers of mesh panels, the material contacts with the hot air and carries out heat exchange, so that the water in the material evaporates and is taken away by the hot air, so as to achieve the drying effect.
Three, fine washing coal vertical dryer
Fine coal washing vertical dryer includes feed port, bottom hopper, drying cylinder, drying cylinder is divided into: air inlet, air exhaust and ventilation, and the section is connected with the section through the flange, drying cylinder has two columns of baffle ring, through the baffle ring will be divided into external duct, material layer area and inner duct three areas. After the material is fed into the dryer, it is buffered into the drying cylinder, heated by high temperature gas in the material layer area and takes away water, and finally discharged from the lower hopper. The high-temperature gas enters the outer air duct through the air intake joint, and then enters the inner air duct through the material layer area, while drying the material, then the gas moves to the exhaust joint through the air vent, the gas passes through the material layer again into the outer air duct, and the material is dried again. The water vapor generated by heating the material and the heated exhaust gas are collected and processed by the dust collection equipment.
Vertical dryer has the advantages of small footprint, low operating cost, simple operation, less investment, high thermal efficiency, fine washing vertical dryer has the advantages of low material crushing rate, convenient control, etc., and has been more and more applied in building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry production.
