The Discharge Head is a critical structural component located at the outlet end of a ball mill, designed to control material discharge, support liner configuration, and maintain stable shell alignment. Manufactured by ZM INDUSTRY CO., LTD., our mill discharge heads, discharge end covers, and heavy-duty outlet housings are built from high-strength cast steel and engineered for reliable performance in long-term mineral processing operations. The Discharge Head is designed to handle continuous product flow and abrasive operations. Our BS3100-A2 cast steel structure delivers excellent fatigue resistance, while CNC-machined flanges ensure perfect alignment with the mill shell and bearing system. Bolt positions, liner interfaces, and outlet chambers are finished to high accuracy to support efficient classification and discharge rates. Optional rubber lining provides extended wear life for abrasive ore handling. Rubber Lining Inspection

NDT Testing

MPI and UT are carried out to verify internal and surface integrity, preventing hidden cracks and ensuring structural reliability.

Hole & Fit Check

All discharge head holes are measured for position, diameter, and tolerance accuracy to ensure precise assembly with liners and bolts.

Bolt Assembly Test

Each bolt set undergoes torque verification and fit-up trials to guarantee secure installation during on-site mill commissioning.

Final Inspection

A full-dimension and surface inspection is completed before shipping to confirm compliance with drawing requirements and export standards.
