We supply wear-resistant chute liners specially designed for feeding and transfer systems in ball mills and SAG mills. These liners protect chutes, feeders, and mill feed zones from abrasion by heavy ores (e.g. iron ore) and ensure smooth material flow. Cast liners are more cost-effective and durable than welded steel liners and can be custom-designed to fit any mill inlet or discharge. Using high-manganese steel or high-chrome alloy, our chute liners greatly extend service life and minimize maintenance. For example, a 20mm thick ceramic wear liner can handle ~8 million tons of ore – about the life of a same-thickness manganese steel liner – while weighing only one-third as much, reducing equipment strain. The liners are flow-optimized to prevent blockages and reduce noise. We offer various solutions – from high-chrome SAG liners to rubber chute liners – to meet the rigorous demands of US and South African mining companies.

Comprehensive Chute Liner QA

Raw Material Inspection
We perform spectrochemical analysis on each batch of manganese or chrome alloy to verify composition and limit recycled content. This guarantees the hardness and toughness meet the demanding standards of mining applications.
Dimensional Inspection
After machining, each liner is measured with precision gauges or CMM to verify thickness, diameter, and bolt-hole positions, ensuring all dimensions match the drawings within tight tolerances for a perfect fit.
 
Hardness & Mechanical Testing
After heat-treatment, we measure Rockwell/Brinell hardness to verify treatment effectiveness. Impact or tensile tests are also performed to confirm strength and ensure the liners won't fracture under heavy impact.

Nondestructive Testing (NDT)
We conduct ultrasonic and magnetic particle inspections on each casting. This detects internal cracks or inclusions, ensuring only flawless parts proceed, and guaranteeing structural integrity of the liners.
Visual & Fit Inspection
Each liner is cleaned and visually inspected for porosity, cracks, or cosmetic defects. We also verify that all mounting hardware (bolts, washers) are included so that the product and its accessories are complete.
 
Final Inspection
We perform a final check and issue a QA certificate. Before packaging, we re-verify part numbers, quantities, and specs to ensure everything matches the customer's order.

Each liner is coated with rust-preventive oil, wrapped in moisture-proof film, and placed in a reinforced, ISPM-15 compliant wooden crate. The crate has corner supports and is securely strapped, ensuring the liner stays fixed during transit.

Shock-absorbing foam or wooden blocks separate liners inside the crate to prevent impact. For corrosion-sensitive parts, we include anti-rust paper and desiccant to keep moisture at bay. The packaging is designed to withstand rough handling and protect the parts.
